10% Fenbendazole
Safe-Guard® Fenbendazole Paste 10% is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic formulated for effective treatment and control of lungworms, stomach worms, and intestinal worms in beef and dairy cattle. This convenient oral paste delivers reliable parasite control for herd applications and large animals — one 290 g syringe treats up to 12,000 lb of body weight.
For the treatment and control of:
Administer orally at 2.3 mg fenbendazole per lb of body weight (approx. 5 mg/kg), which equates to 5 g Safe-Guard Paste per 220 lb (100 kg). Each full depression of the Safe-Guard dispensing gun delivers ~5 g of paste. Use only with Safe-Guard dosing equipment (applicator gun #I6S5 recommended).
Important: Do not underdose. Determine accurate body weight and ensure each animal receives the full labeled dose. Underdosing may reduce effectiveness and encourage parasite resistance. Retreatment may be necessary after 4–6 weeks if animals remain exposed to parasites.
Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from freezing. Keep syringe capped when not in use and out of reach of children and non-target animals.
The Safe-Guard® Applicator is designed specifically for use with 290 g tubes of Safe-Guard® Cattle Dewormer Paste, providing accurate and consistent oral dosing for beef and dairy cattle. This durable dispensing gun helps ensure proper administration while reducing waste during routine deworming.
Each full depression of the trigger delivers approximately 5 grams of Safe-Guard® paste, allowing for reliable, repeatable dosing based on cattle weight. The applicator is easy to operate and built for dependable performance in both on-farm and veterinary settings.
For oral use only in beef and dairy cattle. Use exclusively with Safe-Guard® 290 g paste tubes (sold separately). Follow all label directions provided with the dewormer product.
Any use of a product that is not clearly defined on the label directions should be done only under supervision of a qualified veterinary professional.
