Rx Selarid® Topical Parasiticide for Dogs

Rx Selarid® Topical Parasiticide for Dogs is a prescription, broad-spectrum monthly parasite prevention designed to protect dogs six weeks of age and older. Formulated with selamectin, this ready-to-use topical solution provides reliable, long-lasting protection against multiple internal and external parasites with one easy application.

Each single-dose applicator delivers a minimum of 2.7 mg of selamectin per pound of body weight to effectively kill adult fleas, prevent flea eggs from hatching, and help stop reinfestation for up to one month. Selarid® also helps prevent heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis and treats and controls ear mites, sarcoptic mange, and tick infestations caused by Dermacentor variabilis.

Directions:

Use only as directed by your veterinarian. Remove the applicator from the pouch, hold upright, and snap off the tip. Part the hair at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Apply the entire contents directly onto the skin in one spot. Do not massage into the skin and do not apply to wet or broken skin. Administer monthly for continuous protection.
