Rx Noromycin 300 LA

Noromycin 300 LA is an injectable antibiotic used for the treatment of various bacterial infections in cattle and swine. It is particularly effective against oxytetracycline-susceptible organisms causing diseases such as pneumonia, shipping fever, pink eye, scours, leptospirosis, and more.

Features:

  • Sterile, ready-to-use solution
  • Broad-spectrum antibiotic containing oxytetracycline dihydrate
  • Each mL contains 300 mg of oxytetracycline base
  • Effective against a wide range of bacterial infections in cattle and swine

Directions:

For best results, administer the prescribed dosage based on the animal's weight and the specific condition being treated:

  • Beef cattle, non-lactating dairy cattle, and calves: Administer 9 mg per lb of body weight intramuscularly or subcutaneously. Continue treatment for 24-48 hours after symptoms subside, but not to exceed 4 consecutive days.
  • Swine: Administer 9 mg per lb of body weight intramuscularly for pneumonia. For sows, administer 3 mg per lb of body weight 8 hours before or after farrowing.

Ingredients:

Each mL contains 300 mg of oxytetracycline dihydrate.

Cautions and Warnings:

Do not administer by intravenous, intra-articular, or epidural injection. Exceeding recommended dosage or treatment duration may result in antibiotic residues beyond withdrawal times. Consult a veterinarian if adverse reactions occur.

Adverse Reactions:

Possible adverse reactions include injection site swelling, restlessness, ataxia, and respiratory issues. Discontinue use and consult a veterinarian if adverse reactions occur.

Important: Always follow your veterinarian's advice for the proper treatment and dosage. Do not exceed recommended dosage or treatment duration.
