I was shocked to see that this is not approved for ruminants? My vet prescribed it twice a day for my goat kid that is very sick with pneumonia,she is improving by leaps and bounds...Does anyone know why it's not approved for ruminants?

I have used this product for a least 20 years. Best supplement on the market for aged or ill horses.
