I love it, but my dog doesn't

This product is easy to apply, smells great, and definitely seems to halt her itching and scratching, but she hates it when I apply it. Because she's had a long history of summer allergies, and we've tried so many treatments (baths, sprays, mousse, salves, medications) that she runs away from me when she sees the next applicator. I've been able to spray this in my hand, and rub them together, and then apply it to her itchy spot. I'm sure it would be MUCH more effective if I could ever spray her directly, but this is the best I'm going to get I think.
