Equine Influenza (KY 97) & Rhinopneumonitis Vaccine (KV)

FluVac Innovator® EHV-4/1 is a vaccine for healthy horses that helps protect against equine influenza and respiratory disease caused by equine herpesvirus types 1 and 4 (EHV-1 and EHV-4). It contains the Kentucky 97 (KY97) equine influenza strain and MetaStim® adjuvant and is designed to complement Core EQ Innovator® in an individualized vaccination program.

Vaccination Schedule:

• Initial series: Healthy horses should receive two 1 mL intramuscular doses, administered 3–4 weeks apart.
• Revaccination: The appropriate interval for booster doses depends on the horse's age, health, use, and risk of exposure. Horses with increased exposure to equine influenza or EHV-1/EHV-4 may require more frequent revaccination. Consult your veterinarian for an appropriate ongoing vaccination schedule and for guidance during periods of stress or increased exposure.

Directions:

Shake well. Aseptically administer 1 mL intramuscularly.

• Single-dose vial with needle and pre-loaded syringe
• 10-dose vial

Storage:

Store at 2°–8°C. Do not freeze. Prolonged exposure to higher temperatures and/or direct sunlight may adversely affect potency.

Cautions/Warnings:

Transient local reactions may occur at the injection site. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. This product has not been tested in pregnant animals. Contains formalin, thimerosal, neomycin, and polymyxin B as preservatives. Do not mix with other products. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.
