Jeffers Citronella Oil Insect Repellent, 8 oz

Protect your horse from annoying pests with Jeffers Citronella Oil Insect Repellent. This natural formula, derived from Citronella grass (Cymbopogon nardus), contains no pesticides and effectively helps repel flies, gnats, mosquitoes, and fleas. It’s economical, easy to use, and when mixed with the recommended ingredients (see below), it will also help provide your horse with a healthier, shinier coat. Citronella is grown primarily in the East Indies and Sri Lanka, and is also native to tropical America. This product contains 100% Oil of Citronella.

Used to aid in the control of:

Mixing Suggestions:

  • Mix 2 oz of Jeffers Citronella Oil Insect Repellent with 30 oz of Apple Cider Vinegar. Shake well and apply using a light mist; or
  • Mix 1/2 oz to 1 oz Jeffers Citronella Oil Insect Repellent to any existing fly spray. Shake well; or
  • Use as an additive to any equine shampoo solution by adding 1/2 oz Jeffers Citronella Oil Insect Repellent. Be sure to wash and rinse thoroughly

Jeffers Citronella Oil

i have used this product for many many years and have not found anything else that works as well, we mix it with skin so soft and vinegar and use on our horses and great danes. I love it and give it 5 *

Haven't Used It Yet

I purchased this to reactivate some citronella collars that I purchased for my equines and sheep. I have not actually used it yet, but this is a great price for this product. I cannot find it locally, so I am really happy to find this product.

I make my own fly spray and it is a must to add Citronella to help with the mosquitoes.

I make the standard fly spray with this and skin so soft, vinegar and water. Works great and very cost effective.

Flies be GONE

I mix my own fly spray, and this stuff is just awesome! Once mixed, it lasts the entire day without the horse needing to be resprayed... plus it smells amazing.
