Bovilis Calvary 9 is a 9-way clostridial bacterin-toxoid vaccine for healthy cattle 3 months of age and older. It helps protect against diseases caused by nine clostridial organisms, including blackleg, malignant edema, black disease, redwater, tetanus, and enterotoxemia.

Directions:

Mix gently before use. Administer 2 mL subcutaneously, followed by a second 2 mL dose 3 weeks later.

Calves vaccinated between 3 and 6 months of age should receive a third vaccination with Bovilis Calvary 9 or another vaccine containing C. perfringens Type D epsilon toxoid.

Withdrawal Period:

Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.

Precautions:

Transient swelling may occur at the injection site following vaccination. Vaccine performance may be affected by factors such as stress, weather, nutrition, disease, parasitism, other treatments, and the animal's immune status.

Storage:

Store at 35°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C). Do not freeze. Use the entire contents when first opened. Do not mix with other products.

Cautions/Warnings:

Do not vaccinate cattle within 21 days before slaughter. Although the source information states that the vaccine is safe for pregnant cows and calves nursing pregnant cows, it also states that the product has not been tested in pregnant animals. Consult your veterinarian before use in pregnant cattle.

Anaphylactoid reactions may occur following vaccination. Epinephrine is the recommended antidote.
