IBR, PI3, BRSV (MLV), Lepto 5 Bacterin, BVD Types 1 & 2
CattleMaster Gold FP 5 L5 is a combination modified-live and killed-virus vaccine for healthy cattle, including pregnant cows and heifers. It aids in the prevention of respiratory disease caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), bovine viral diarrhea (BVD) Types 1 and 2, parainfluenza 3 (PI3), and bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV), as well as reproductive disease associated with IBR and BVD. The vaccine also aids in protection against disease caused by five common Leptospira serovars and offers fetal protection. It can be used in calves and incorporated into herd vaccination programs according to label directions and veterinary recommendations.
Aseptically rehydrate the freeze-dried vaccine with the liquid component provided. Shake well and administer 5 mL subcutaneously.
Primary Vaccination: Administer two 5 mL doses 3 weeks apart to healthy cattle. For reproductive disease protection associated with IBR and BVD, administer a single 5 mL dose approximately 5 and 2 weeks before breeding as directed by the product label.
Calves vaccinated before 6 months of age should be revaccinated after 6 months of age. Maternal antibodies may interfere with development of active immunity in young cattle, and additional vaccination may be necessary.
Revaccination: The need for annual booster vaccination has not been established. Consult your veterinarian or the manufacturer for an appropriate revaccination schedule.
Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.
Store at 2–8°C (35–46°F). Do not freeze or expose to prolonged heat or direct sunlight.
Vaccinate healthy cattle using aseptic technique. Use the entire contents when first opened. Transient injection-site reactions may occur. Routine handling of lactating dairy cattle, including vaccination, has been associated with a temporary reduction in milk production. Do not mix with other products except as specifically directed. Inactivate unused vaccine before disposal. Contains gentamicin and thimerosal as preservatives. In case of accidental human exposure, contact a physician.
A Valid veterinarian prescription is required to purchase this item in the state of Minnesota. Please contact your veterinarian for a prescription.
All vaccines are NON-RETURNABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE.
