Pryantel Pamoate is a medication useful for helping treat infections of intestinal worms in humans. It is primarily used to help treat infections caused by pinworms, but if you doctor recommends it, can also be used to help treat hookworm and roundwork infections. Ingredients contained within paralyze the infectious worms' nervous system, which allows them to be naturally disposed of through the stool. This medication can be administered orally, and you can take it with or without the inclusion of food. Please note this medication is not to be used in animals of any kind. It should also not be used in humans under two years of age unless otherwise instructed by your doctor.
