The Spartan Mosquito Eradicator is a uniquely effective, long-lasting, continuous mosquito control system. The Spartan Mosquito Eradicator also doesn’t require batteries or electricity, just water!

HOW IT WORKS Spartan Mosquito Eradicators emit the same triggers that draw mosquitoes to people. Once mosquitoes feed on the water solution, they perish before they can breed again.

EFFECTIVENESS Spartan Mosquito Eradicators will reduce the mosquito population in the first 15 days with up to 95% efficiency. Eradicators are effective for up to 90 days. One box will cover up to 1 acre of land. If mosquito season has already started, double up to 2 boxes per acre to catch up. The Spartan Mosquito Eradicator is most effective when deployed right before mosquito season begins.
Why Choose Spartan?

  • Spray services are intermittently effective, expensive, and their recurrent costs add up over time. Plus, they can be potentially harmful. The American Mosquito Control Association, a scientific, educational, not-for-profit group that is devoted to the suppression of mosquitoes, does not endorse the use of timed misting systems. These put unnecessary pesticides in the environment that kill non-target insects and promote resistance in insect populations.
  • Candles and torches emit smoke to confuse and ward off mosquitoes. They have a limited effective radius (they normally claim up to 15 feet, but sometimes have an effective radius of six to seven feet when the air is still) and are subject to winds and breezes, rendering them close to useless.
  • Spray-on repellent used on the skin is a summertime go-to to provide temporary protection, but finding one that isn’t full of harmful chemicals can be challenging. Synthetic repellents containing the DEET chemical compound have been used for over 50 years, but they do have shortcomings. Any spray containing organic solvents has the capability to dissolve certain plastics, and can also be an environmental pollutant. So, while spray-on repellents can be temporarily effective in warding off local mosquitoes, they do not decrease the mosquito population, only work for a short amount of time, and can pollute the environment.
  • Bug zappers have been proven ineffective in killing mosquitoes. Studies have shown that they fail to attract mosquitoes, and instead kill thousands of bugs that are harmless and necessary to the ecosystem, such as moths and fireflies.

  • Deploy 1 box (2 tubes) per acre of land. Double your deployment (2 boxes per acre) if mosquito season has started.
  • Follow the deployment guidelines that most accurately describe your property.
  • Place your Eradicators away from human activity and buildings.
  • Check the water levels periodically. Hot climates will evaporate the water faster than normal and flooding can occur in heavy rains. Maintain the water level between the full and low level lines throughout each deployment.

When to Deploy Spartan Mosquito Eradicators
Mosquito season will start at a different time each year depending on your location. Find your location on the map and get a head start on a mosquito-free property. Remember, if mosquito season has already started, use two boxes per acre to get the established mosquito population under control.

Why choose spartan
  1. Prepare the Eradicators
    • Remove Spartan Mosquito Eradicators from the box.
    • For each Eradicator, remove the temporary white cap and fill with WARM water to the fill line indicated on the back of the Eradicator.
    • Replace white cap. SHAKE THOROUGHLY. Remove white cap.
    • Attach hooks to black caps for hanging, and secure black caps to the top of the Spartan Mosquito Eradicators.
  2. Hang the Eradicators
    • Hang Spartan Mosquito Eradicators along the perimeter/property line of the area to be protected, no more than 180 feet apart. If the property is smaller than one square acre, and there are no major mosquito attractors such as a wooded area or a water feature, hang the Eradicators on opposite corners of the property.
    • Be sure to hang the Eradicators away from areas where people gather, since mosquitoes will gather near the Spartan Mosquito Eradicators to feed.
    • If you have woods, heavy vegetation, or a water feature that attracts mosquitoes, you should hang at least one Spartan Mosquito Eradicator near or within that area, away from people.
    • The ideal height to hang the Spartan Mosquito Eradicator is about six feet above the ground.
    • The ideal place to hang Spartan Mosquito Eradicators is in a tree against the trunk on a sturdy branch, or just inside a bush, where they will be shaded and be partially protected from rain. This prevents evaporation and allows some water replenishment from rain.
    • Be sure and place your Eradicators at least 100 feet from where you gather in your yard.
  3. Results
    • With proper placement, the mosquito population in the area will diminish by up to 95% in 15 days or less.
