Set the optional brake or hand-turn the wheel slowly to get started.

Use treats to coax the dog onto the wheel.
Over time relax the brake tension to allow the wheel more and more motion.
As the dog gets use to the motion, slowly advance the wheel to cause walking.
Keep your training sessions to approximately 10 minutes, or as long as the dog is comfortable walking on the wheel.
