This blade is a shorter than the Size 8 1/2 but longer than the Size 10 Blade. It can be used for close clipper work on some poodles, spaniels and terrier with sensitive skin. Remember that the cutting blade is more expose which means it is possible to cut the dog easier than with the Size 10. | | Product Details: | Oster Elite Blade - #9 Medium Smooth Finish. For use with A5 and Cordless Power Pro Clippers. These blades are coated with titanium carbonitride for 3 times longer blade life and smoother cutting. Cutting edge has Rockwell hardness (HRC) of over 80 but are not brittle. The coating will not flake off like regular chrome can.
